Mission

In partnership with participating countries, institutions and the private sector, the Trust supports the exploration of the ocean and its submerged cultural, biological and physical resources.

The Trust helps select key resources for development and develop an implementation plan. These resources include archeological development for national museums and tourism, ecotourism, freshwater from the sea, and mineral and biological harvesting.

Because of the director’s background in marine education the Trust can assist the host country to enhance the state of its marine education programs.
